You have to think that if he played a better game against Washington he would still be here. He is one of the guys that you can look at not having a good game that night and it's easy to send the young guy back. Also Max played decent against Toronto which meant it was a numbers game. I think the Sabres are still looking to move Max and he needs to be in the lineup in order for them to showcase his talents.

Bottom Line: Gerbe will be back at some point.
