Another player set to make his NHL debut. I have nothing against Chris Butler, in fact I think he will be a fine defenseman someday, but what the hell is a rookie defenseman going to do to help this team?

If Butler isn't going to help the squad than Ellis certainly isn't either. Was anyone impressed with Ellis when he played in Buffalo early in the season? Maybe I'm still bitter about last night but these moves seem pointless to me.

That being said...I am excited to see Butler in the lineup, I'm just not sure he is going to help right now. To be fair, I am not up to date on Weber's injury status and anyone would be better than Paetsch right now.
