Listen Here

Season Series:  First Meeting

07-08 vs. Devils:  1-0-3

Players to Watch

Buffalo Sabres:  Clarke MacArthur (5G-3A-8P, 3PPG, four game point streak 2G-2A), Andrei Sekera (four points in his last three games, all assists), Thomas Vanek (11G-3A-14P, 4PPG, 2SHG, three goals in his last two games), Jaro Spacek (three assists in his last two games), Ryan Miller (6-1-1, 1.82 GAA, .936 sv%, eighth career shutout on Saturday against the Capitals)

New Jersey Devils:  Zach Parise (9G-5A-14P, has seven goals in his last six games and has 7G-4A-11P in his last six games), Brian Gionta (Rochester Native has two goals and four assists in his last five games), Dainius Zubrus (the ex-Sabre has two goals and three assists in his last four games)

Stat to Remember

Buffalo Sabres:  Have not lost a regulation game on the road this season.  The Sabres are 3-0-2 with the a shootout loss in Atlanta (October 18) and in Colorado (October 25).

New Jersey Devils:  The Devils aren't the same team defensively that they were in the past but they still thrive on scoring first.  The Devils are 4-0-1 when they score the first goal of the game.  On the flip side, they are 3-2-1 when they allow their opponent to score the first goal.

Of course we hope you will join us in the opne thread on Saturday night and don't forget to get your SPG picks in.  If you haven't signed up yet head over and do it now because there is now an opportunity to win prizes.
