Happy Thanksgiving

I would like to wish a very happy Thanksgiving to all of the American readers and a special thanks to our Canadian readers that celebrated Thanksgiving last month.  Last year I did a list of thanks and ironically enough they all still ring true...except this time Connolly is back on the shelf (anyone else see something seriously wrong with that?).  Personally I am thankful for a lot of things...my incredible family, especially my beautiful wife and children, that gas prices are down (even if it is only for a short time), Coach Dennis Canfield with the Jamestown Jets for helping me in my journey to become a broadcaster, I am thankful that more people read this blog than did a year ago, I am thankful to SB Nation for their continued support of hockey...and the list goes on and on.

As Sabres fans we have things to be thankful for as well...

• Let's give thanks that the new third jersey is....awesome (spoken like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy)!
• Lets' give thanks that the Sabres are finally done with their five game losing streak.
• Let's give thanks that Thomas Vanek is living up to his huge contract.
• Let's give thanks that Bucky Gleason has a new team to pick on.
• Again the list goes on but hey...go eat some turkey...Happy Thanksgiving!
