Sabres Game Day Game
Thanks to the generosity of a couple of great people we are going to be able to have a little bit of fun this season. We are going to play the "SPG" game for all of the Sabres games this season. It's really easy to do and it should add some excitement to gameday.
The premise of the game is simple, "SPG" stands "Shot", "Penalty" and "Goal", the purpose of the game is to select who will have the first shot, penalty and goal of every period in every Sabres game this season. The game was created by our friend at the SB Nation Leafs blog Pension Plan Puppets and than a reader named Gary put together this incredible platform to make it easier.
How to sign up
- Go to the SPG site and register for an account. You can only select one team so make sure to pick the Buffalo Sabres as your team. Check your e-mail for a verification and click the link...that's it you're all set to go. In order to make selections you go to the Calendar page and select a game...it will pop up a box that will allow you to make selections. We are going to use at least October as a test to see how it goes and than we will decide on prizes for the rest of the season.

Actually, I mistyped. There is no e-mail activation. Just the next time they log-in it’ll confirm that they were invited into the Die By the Blade league.
It’s a fun way to add something to follow during the game.

to put odds on it as well
