It wasn't very difficult to pick the nominees for the player of the week. The NCAA teams haven't started playing and many players didn't stand out this week. It's still early and there is a long way to go.
The Nominees
- Jordan Southorn (Prince Edward Island Rocket)- Southorn played in two games this week and had an assist with a plus two rating and two minutes. It was in a 7-2 win over Halifax on Friday night that Jordon had an assist and a plus three rating.
- T.J. Brennan (Montreal Juniors)- In two games played Brennan had three points (1 goal-2 assists) and a plus four rating. He had points in both games played this week with an assist in a 4-3 victory on Friday night against Acadie-Bathurst and a goal and an assist on Sunday in an 8-4 thumping of Victoriaville.
- Luke Adam (Montreal Juniors)- Luke Adam had five points in only two games this week. He was held off the scoresheet on Friday in the Juniors 4-3 victory at home against Acadie-Bathurst but he followed that up with a hat-trick and five points in Victoriaville on Sunday.
