[open thread] Sabres @ Sharks

Time: 10:30 TV: MSG(HD) Radio: WGR55

It's a late night edition of the open thread.  Gametime tonight is 10:30 pm which is well after most Sabres fans have already gone to bed.  I'll be here and watching the game so feel free to join me.

The Sabres go into San Jose looking to salvage something from a so far horrendous West Coast Trip.  The Sabres began the trip with a 4-1 loss in Anaheim and one night later suffered one of the most embarrasing losses in recent memory when they lost 8-2 against the Kings.  The Sabres will have to play a more physical game if they want to compete against the Sharks.  The Sharks are the first place team in the Pacific Division and Buffalo has already lost to the third place and fifth place teams on this road trip.
