This will be the last meeting between the Islanders and Sabres for the 2007-2008 season.  The Islanders beat the Sabres twice to start off the season but the Sabres were able to bounce back and win the last meeting on December 12 by a score of 5-3.  The Sabres have won three straight games and won four of their last five games to move up in the standings but still sit in last place in the Northeast Division.
