Sabres complete Preseason

PrintThe Buffalo Sabres have completed the pre-season portion of their schedule and will start the regular season on Friday October 5th. In the upcoming week I will preview this season and get you ready for what should prove to be another exciting season of Buffalo Sabres hockey.
It took a couple of games for the team to gel but by the final weekend of the pre-season they looked more like the team that won the Presidents Trophy last season. Derek Roy was outstanding in the final three pre-season games and Tim Connolly scored a goal in his only pre-season action.
